Since my partner and I got together I have been making homemade Christmas cards for family and friends. These are usually scrapbook like cards with some photographs I have taken and printed at home. Amateur, yes, but everyone seemed to love them. Last year I actually sent out a bunch of photos with the cards as a small Christmas gift which was also well received. This year I am bringing out the big guns. I have taken photos of the kids and I am sending them to be professionally printed in the next day or so. I won't put up the image and the card I am actually using but here are some of the options based on some templates I purchased recently (I don't want to spoil the surprise for my family!). I love them so much and it was a tough decision to choose just one card to be printed. This is a point of difference that I haven't seen other photographers offering around Perth. Professionally designed and printed Christmas cards created with photographs from a portrait session. I think it is just one of the things I can offer that perhaps no-one else can at the moment. How great would it be to send out your own cards with a photo of your kids or your pets for your family and friends. Something to look forward to each year I bet. I would also like to expand into birth announcement cards, but that is a completely different story. My future niece or nephew being born next May is going to be the best photographed child in Perth :)
